Barn Dances

The Whole Earth Grocery co-sponsors a barn dance series organized by the River Falls Community Arts Base and also co-sponsored by the River Falls Parks and Recreation Department.

The barn dances feature a variety of old-time styles, from reels and round dances to full-fledged square dances. No prior experience is necessary, because each dance includes instruction. Partners are optional. Children are especially encouraged to attend the opening family dance segment from 7 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, March 15, 2008: Rush River Ramblers
Saturday, April 12, 2008: Poor Benny

TIME: 7 - 10 p.m. (7 - 8 p.m. is family dance time)

WHERE: River Falls Academy Gym (formerly the Meyer Middle School)
439 West Maple Street, River Falls, WI 54022

ADMISSION: $5.00 for adults and $2.50 for 12 and under.

Inexpensive refreshments are available at the dance.

Welcome to the Whole Earth Grocery, a friendly cooperative natural foods store in River Falls, Wisconsin.

A part of this western Wisconsin community since 1970, we carry a wide range of organic and natural foods and environmentally friendly household products. We feature locally grown organic produce, freshly roasted coffee, and specialty cheeses.

Members and non-members are welcome to shop at the store, and membership is open to all.
